Christopher Nolan Gets Candid on the State of Movies, Rise of TV and Spielberg’s Influence
This is a cracking article and insight into one of the best directors of today.
I love this article. It's so true. I often think back to my younger years; years before the Internet was born, and remember how we 'played' together using imagination of our own making.
Performing skits, being silly, playing in the fresh air, and being aware of our surroundings.
Visiting libraries to look up information because there was no Google!
Using the A to Z map to find our way, because there was no Internet.
Putting on a record to listen to music, because streaming didn't exist.
The world is a very different place to the one I grew up in, and no doubt our children will feel the same when they grow older.
I wish we could 'force' Internet-free days. Just so we can stop, look around, interact with each other, use our imagination, and play again.
I love using @Pocket The simplicity and ease of use bring me back day after day. This article gives a thorough understanding of the culture and reasoning behind the team that builds it. I look forward to seeing where it's heading to next.
An interesting view of the technical world within #formula1 #f1
I'm a keen advocate of using a password manager. #LastPass is my choice. I've been using it for years.
I highly recommend the use of a system that help manage passwords, to enable each account to have its own, unique, key.
I'm not sure how I'd survive without using LastPass. I'm a strong advocate of using a password manager and keeping not only my passwords, but also other key information in one place. #LoveLastPass
Interesting article, especially if, like me, you find yourself wandering off task occasionally. It's time to take control.
There's been lots in the news about hacking... how strong are your passwords?
If you haven't seen "The Rocketeer" it's well worth a watch. Corny, but a lot of fun...
I love articles like this. They really make you stop and think; and they help to focus the mind...
This is an interesting article about the monetization of podcasts. I think podcasting is on the verge of getting much bigger, but there do need to be better ways to find content. Not least, know how old a podcast is... Some of them seem to be months/years old!!!
However, there are some great productions out there...
I use a Chromebook and love it..
Great article by a great #F1 writer
To be honest; I didn't know that autopsies weren't a regular activity. I thought they happened all the time when the death is unexpected.
Maybe, in the UK, it is the norm; but either way, surely there is no better way to learn for the future.
You can never be too careful. I once thought that two-factor authentication was messy, but I now understand how it can help keep me safe online.
How to make Agile work properly - actually embrace it as a methodology instead of pay it lip service...
Plenty to chew on here...
My choice for password protection, it just got better #onlinesecurity
Routine is important, and if you can recognise the best way to be more effective, then do it. I'm a morning person, and this article resonates with me.
Great article @pocket #readitlater
I use Amazon Prime for music, video and shopping. It's a unique proposition that works.
LastPass is my goto for online security
The build up to #TheForceAwakens continues #starwars
I can't decide whether to get the Nexus 6p... #nexus #android
I live quite happily without Facebook. I do have access to it, and I use it for the Cub pack I lead, but personally, I don't post anything and rarely look at other posts.
I don't see the need to look at others bragging, showing off etc, and I subscribe to enough other publications and feeds to get the news I want to read.
As for photos, I share what I take with the relevant audience directly. Oh, I do use Instagram and Twitter, but again, that's for interests and not to see what 'friends' are up to.
Make the start of your day trouble free and don't respond to message til you're ready...
I literally cannot wait for #StarWars
I'm happy with @Evernote ... although I'd like the web interface to be more in line with the desktop version..
#AmazonPrime > I can't wait for this. Episode 2 was brilliant. Roll on next week
Hopefully, this might help Eddie prevent further decline #afcb
This is incredible... #ISS
Is this really what they mean by #AmazonPrime
