Sign Up for the Pocket API

The API is for developers building applications using Pocket.
If you are looking for a Pocket user account, sign-up here.

To use the Pocket API you need to signup for a (free) API key.

After signing up, you will be given access to a control panel where you can view your app's stats and update your app's information. You can modify your app's information at any time.

Your Application
  • You can change this name later
  • Pages saved from your app will appear with 'saved from APP NAME'.
  • Your name cannot have 'Pocket' or 'Read It Later' in it. It should be clear to users that it is an independent application. (Read more)
